Vertical Analysis
Illustrates how various components of a financial statement relate to a total figure in at statement. In an Income or Cash Flow statement, one line is set to 100% and the rest of the lines are then a percentage relative to that line. In a Balance sheet, the total assets is used as one comparative line with the total liabilities and stockholders' line is used as the other comparative line as the other.
